We raise funds so we can deliver programmes to enhance life chances around Harrogate.

Story

Fergie died peacefully at home on 11th July 2023. Beloved husband of Ruth. Cherished father of Kate, Laura & Elle and much loved grandfather of Zak & Dillon. A passionate sportsman and well respected teacher, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Fergie has a long history with Harrogate Town AFC and took great pleasure in attending both Walking Football and Talk of the Town (Sporting Memories) in the later years of his life.  As such it only felt fitting that the great work they did in supporting both Fergie and the family that we should ask for donations in his name to go to the Harrogate Town AFC Community Foundation.

A collection will also be taken at his memorial should you wish to donate at that time.

Thank you.
