Hounslow Community FoodBox is a volunteer led project which provides emergency food, support and advice to households in the borough. Whilst emergency food cant solve poverty, it can provide a lifeline. For many people the cost-of-living crisis means that its going to be a very hard winter, and though we shouldn’t need foodbanks in the 6th richest country in the world in the 21st century, the reality is that we do.
