Thanks for visiting our JustGiving page and for supporting us. Rennie Grove is a hospice care charity in Bucks and Herts, and they helped us care for our Dad at home when it mattered most in late October 2014. He died surrounded by his family in the home he loved, and that would have been much harder to achieve without the charity's help. That's the end we'd probably all want if we had to choose, and so we want to help Rennie Grove help other people in similar situations to ours.

The Wycombe half is nemesis in the form of a half marathon - well to me at least! - and it's the local run, so it seemed right to do it for our Dad. He and Mum watched us come in when we did it last time in 2012. The run is on 12th July starting on the Rye in High Wycombe at 09:30. My goal is to make it round without needing an ambulance so hopefully I will achieve that - I think Richard's goal is a little more lofty! There will probably be about an hour's difference in our finish times but he is very kindly running with me on training runs with not too many figure of 8s!
