Story
We have set ourselves a challenge….
To drive to Monaco and back, a 2000 mile journey in a vehicle worth less than £500! To raise money for a Children’s charity who help children and families across the UK.
We have been donated a vehicle by Paul Hughes @ PIH Electrical, but a vehicle which hasn’t seen a UK road since 2017, so stage 1 is to get it road worthy and reliable initially.
Scrumrun have been running charity road rallies for over 10 Years and have raised over £800k for UK Charity’s so far. Check them out at: https://www.scumrun.com/news/scumrun-2023-destination-monaco/
Why are we doing this? Fun… yes of course. But this is also a time consuming and costly undertaking, but most importantly and a driving factor, A bucket list event for one of our Team mates, diagnosed with MS just over a year ago. He has to challenge himself every day to get up, go to work and support his own family whilst battling horrendous fatigue and symptoms from the disease. So to take part in this challenge really will push him in every way. But he’s up for the challenge, so help us help him tick this one off his bucket list.
Help us raise loads of money for charity and enjoy watching us customise the vehicle into the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle van,
Following us on Facebook and here for updates and progress pictures.
Thanks for your donation however big or small.
