Please Note: Before I outline the reasons for this JustGiving page and ultimately my request to you to donate; I want to state that I have personally funded all the required funds for my Ride. Together we (BarbersRide) have committed to raising additional funds, this amount will ensure that 2023 (yet again) enters the BarbersRide record books! Please be assured you are not paying for me to go on the ride. I have already fully funded my participation therefore 100% of all donations made will be going to Make-A-Wish® UK.  

Why I am Doing This and why donate? 

Over 60,000 children in the UK have been diagnosed with a critical condition, changing their lives and the lives of their families forever. For them, the joy of childhood is brought to an abrupt end, with treatment plans, hospital visits and sleepless nights taking over.

A wish revives a childhood stolen by critical illness. It brings light and joy to children and their loved ones and leaves a profound and lasting impact on all their lives.

This will be the 7th year of BarbersRide; riding for charity and once again we will be raising funds for Make A Wish. We’ve now raised over £120,000 for charity to date which simply wouldn’t have been possible without all the riders, sponsors, event hosts and donations so a huge thank you to you all whom sponsored me last year.

This year BarbesRide have decided to do the first ever “overseas” ride, heading to the glorious island of Ireland. With great roads, spectacular landscapes and the warmest of hospitality, this one is promising to be a bit special.

I recognize that I raised a monumental amount last year!!! (thank you so so so so much to all that donated) and now I am asking again....this is an uncomfortable area.
