This is my 84 mile walk (it may be longer as I am bound the get lost) along Hadrian's Wall from Wallsend to Bowness-on-Solway. Starting on 17th September 2022.

It is raising much needed funds for the Teenage and Young Adult Unit at The Christie who have been looking after my son, Matthew, since June 2021 as part of his Kidney cancer immunotherapy treatment (RAMPART Trial). They are an incredible team of professionals who do an amazing job in treating and supporting teenagers and young adults (TYA) up to the age of 24 with a cancer diagnosis and related illnesses.

They provide TYA Activity fund – to support social events and activities, they fund additional TYA Staff Including a music therapist, social workers, art therapist, complementary therapist and play therapist for young patients. They also provide support for on going medical costs and they research into TYA specific cancer.

I really understand times are tough but if you can make a donation you know will go directly to a great cause, please give any amount you can. It all helps in the treatment and wellbeing of these youngsters who sadly find themselves with a cancer diagnosis.
