Story
I have chosen to represent the Dogs for Disabled charity for a few reasons..
Back In 2011, 23rd of January I awoke to the sound of tears, My dad woke me up at about 6AM saying to come down stairs it's an emergency. Upon opening the living room door, My mum was crying, as well as dad. Then mum murmured under her sadness, "Russ Nats Died" I was in shock. I was lost, I didn't know what to do I've never experienced a family loss before. I locked myself in my bedroom for hours and hours wondering "Why Me?" Didn't go college or leave my room, Felt in a dark place. Eventually I spoke to my Aunt (Natalie's Mum) Pauline Barry. And she brought me back to life..
Now I live everyday trying to please people, live everyday as it's my last. And to hope I've done Nats and my family proud whilst I'm on this planet.
I chose Dog For Disabled because its my Aunt Pauline's (Natalie's Mum's) charity of choice which all the family support in Natalie's memory, She regularly volunteers as a swimming instructor for kids with special needs, It's amazing the work the dogs do, in fact the trainers and back room staff deserve credit also, So raising some funds to help show my support is a little thank you for your wonderful work
Love Russ x
