Story
In March this year, I'm doing the Borneo Multi-Activity Challenge for the children of Tunahaki. The challenge involves climbing Mount Kinabalu, South East Asia's highest mountain, cycling through the jungle, jogging 20 kilometers and finally white-water rafting.
The Tunahaki Foundation www.tunahaki.org is a non-profit organisation which assists orphans and vulnerable street children in Moshi, the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania, to become self-sufficient and ensure that they have access to basic human needs including food, clothing, shelter, medical care, education and the right to a secure future. Tunahaki is Swahili for ‘We have a right’ which the street children of Moshi came up with themselves.
Every penny raised goes directly to the kids and not to fund the cost of the trip. My employer and myself will cover all costs.
