Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In October 2020, my father passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. Throughout the latter stages of his illness, he was taken care of by some of the most fantastic human beings you could be blessed with meeting. Their care, humour, and warmth made our last moments with our father comfortable and happy. For their support, we will be eternally grateful. They brought immense light to the darkest of situations, had us in fits of laughter, and comforted us when we needed it most.
In August, Nathan and I will be cycling from St. Ann's Hospice in Little Hulton to St Patrick’s Point in Heysham (47 mile), to spread our Father’s ashes on the first birthday after his death. We're going to take this opportunity to raise some funds for the hospice. The funding comes from public support and voluntary contributions, and the hospice requires £20,000 a day just to open the doors. Please consider donating as much or as little as you can afford so that the hospice can continue to help people through some of their most painful experiences.
