Three Peaks Challenge · 16 June 2017

DB employees are taking on the epic 24hr challenge of climbing the three highest mountains in the UK for Hope and Homes for Children, and Autistica; Deutsche Bank's two Charities of the Year.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am tackling the three highest peaks on the UK mainland in 24 hours with a group of colleagues from Deutsche Bank. The challenge will start on the morning of Sat 17th June with the ascent of Ben Nevis in Scotland. We will then transfer to Scafell Pike in England, the ascent of which will start that evening. The final transfer is to Snowdon in Wales where we aim to begin the ascent in the early hours of Sunday morning with the aim of completing the final descent in time for breakfast!

The itinerary suggests there will be 8 hours of ascending, 6 hours of descending and 10 hours in a minibus transferring between the mountains. Please give as generously as you can for whichever of the following two reasons you find most compelling:

1. these are two wonderful charities who deserve our support, or

2. the pain and sleep deprivation we'll all be going through during and after the challenge - and we'll be away for Father's Day too :o(

Autistica is the UK's leading autism research charity working to improve our understanding of autism, improve diagnosis and ensure every child born with autism is given the change of a long, healthy and happy life.

Hope and Homes for Children are global experts in de-institutionalisation, working to close harmful orphanages worldwide and ensuring that every child can grow up within the love and care of a family.

Deutsche Bank will match every pound donated up to a limit of £1000 so every pound you donate will double thanks to Deutsche Bank.

Thank you one and all.
