Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am raising for Dementia UK by entering Ride London and cycling 100 miles on 28th May 2023
So, why the Alzheimer's Society? Well, to cut a long story short, I'm doing this for my mum, Benny, Ben or Bridget who was diagnosed with vascular dementia during lockdown. Daily tasks are becoming more difficult for her but a family we are working hard to help her knowing there is no cure for this cruel disease. through Dementia UK we have an admiral nurse helping us providing valuable information and guiding us through this hard time.
I'd hugely appreciate your support, all of which will go directly to a fantastic organisation working to make a real difference in the fight against dementia. it is a cruel disease which irreversibly changes the lives of those affected by the illness and all those around them. it is now the leading cause of death in the UK and many other paces around the world.
This fundraiser is as much about helping others as it is myself - to give back in honour of all those living with the challenges of Dementia. Please join me on this journey by donating through JustGiving; it’s simple, fast and secure.
