Who are Bliss?
Every day over 200 premature and sick babies fight for their survival. Bliss is a UK charity which helps to care for premature and sick babies, as well as providing parents with genuine emotional and practical support during their darkest hours.
Why am doing this challenge?
As a parent of two healthy children (aged 1 and 2), I remind myself every day how lucky I am and can only imagine the challenges that parents of poorly children face. This is why charities such as Bliss are absolutely crucial and need our support to continue the extraordinary work that they do.
Here are a few examples of the great things your donation will contribute to:
• £25 will keep Bliss’ freephone helpline working for one hour
• £40 will allow an overwhelmed parent to attend a Bliss counselling session
• £100 will provide training for a parent volunteer
This challenge is a BIG undertaking for me, but it would be amazing if I could get over the line in decent time, whilst raising money and awareness for Bliss.
