Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So.... on 7 August I will be donning the wet suit and goggles and joining my sister Carrie Preston and several hundred others in swimming across the Camel Estuary in Cornwall from Padstow to Rock to raise funds for Marie Curie.

It's just over a mile of rough tempestuous waters, so hopefully the practising that I've done in the local lake will pay off.

I really hope that you will sponsor me as Marie Curie is a fantastic cause and obviously their fundraising has taken a battering over the last 18 months, so anything that you can spare will be gratefully received.

How will your fundraising make a difference?

£20 pays for one hour of vital nursing care for someone living with a terminal illness in their own home.

£90 pays for one evening of nursing care for someone with a terminal illness at home, tending to their needs and giving respite to loved ones.

£180 provides nine hours of nursing support in someone's home throughout the night, bringing the comfort and expertise families need.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
