Story

This Spring I am doing the Paris Marathon for The Fiona Dolan Fund. There is nothing like the pressure of expectation to get me into lycra and out into the icy Glasgow and Paisley streets. Having undertaken the considerably tough job of transferring my training schedule from the marathon book into my iphone the next unavoidable step is to get on with the training. I will update this as the weeks go on! The happy event is in April. Vaseline once more will be at a premium!

The run is to raise funds for the Fiona Dolan fund and is in her memory. I appreciate that it is the same friends that I email yearly but your donations are thoroughly appreciated and the fund contributes to third world eye care.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
