We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

The Race to ISC is a global event held for F5 employees, where virtual teams compete against each other to complete the most "miles" over a 20 week period.

The "Old Broad Street Bruisers" is a team of 32 colleagues working for F5 in the UK and Eire, and this year we plan to win the event, whilst raising £4500 for Cancer Research.

Every year there are 320,000 cases of cancer diagnosed in the UK, and around 116,000 deaths. There is roughly a 50% survival rate (of 10 years or more), and around 42% of all cancers are "preventable".

Everybody is affected by cancer at some point in their life. Whether through personal experience or watching a loved one suffer - it touches everyone.

Cancer Research UK contributes invaluable scientific and medical support to the fight against cancer. It receives no government funding, and is supported entirely by fund-raising exercises such as this.

So whilst our team cycle, run, swim, cross-train, sweat or pant our way towards the finish line - please show your support for this charity.
