Fans worldwide have been enjoying the work of this outstanding, talented actor for over 30 years; from his early roles in films like A Room With A View and Maurice, right through to his present day work on television hits like Last Tango In Halifax and Sherlock.

This year for Rupert's birthday we're raising money to benefit The Alf Dubs Children’s Fund, administered by Citizens UK's Safe Passage project. The Alf Dubs Children's Fund is supporting work to help child refugees to access safe and legal routes to protection, and help them begin to rebuild their lives once they reach safety.

Lord Alf Dubs was one of the children rescued from Prague before WWII by the Kindertransport arranged by Sir Nicholas Winton. Rupert played Sir Nicholas in a film of his work and gave a reading at a concert in his memory, and child welfare is something very close to his heart.
