Story
We are trying to raise money for Rennie Grove Hospice Care in honour of Maggie. This charity really helped my family when we needed them and we want to do something to thank them for their kindness. Maggie was a Palliative care nurse with a degree in oncology. She was a born nurse and had worked both as a macmillan nurse and as an Iain Rennie nurse! She led a very healthy lifestyle, never smoked and seldom drank and yet she was diagnosed as terminally ill with breast cancer at the age of 40. Maggie was a beautiful wife and an adoring mother and we miss her terribly.
Team Maggie consists of her husband Yogi and her two daughters Holly and Sophie
We are trying to raise money by taking part in the Chilterns 3 Peaks Challenge 2017.On the 10th September we will be hiking 18 miles cross country whilst tackling the top of Whiteleaf Cross, climbing Coombe Hill and finishing by heading up the incline of Ivinghoe Beacon. Please help us by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button. The more money we raise the more people can benefit from this wonderful charity, so please also spread the word by sharing our page with your friends and family.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
