Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Sunday 31st March 2013 we will be running the 5 mile 'Run The Bridge' road race in order to raise money for "Imogens Footprints".

In June 2012 our dear friends Natalie and Lee Englestone sadly lost their baby at 33 weeks into their pregnancy.  Imogen Olivia is their beautiful daughter who was born sleeping on 13 June.

As a close group of friends who want nothing more than to show support to two of the bravest and most inspiring people we know, we have decided to run this race and raise some money for SANDS.

SANDS is is the UK's Stillbirth and Neonatal Death charity and they have brought a great deal of comfort to Natalie and Lee during this tragic time.

Natalie and Lee are raising money to buy Stepping Hill hospital in Stockport a 'cuddle cot' which allows stillborn babies to spend more time with their parents.  Unfortunatly at the time of Imogens birth the hospital did not have one of these cots, and so Natalie and Lee got to spend just a few precious hours with Imogen.

If anything positive can come out of this terrible loss, its that enough money is raised to provide a 'cuddle cot' and allow families going through this to be able to spend more time with their children.

Please sponsor us to help raise funds for this very worthy cause.  Every little helps no matter how big or small.  Whether sponsoring our run here, or through Natalies own page, all the money raised will go towards the same fund.

Donating through Justgiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Your details are safe with Justgiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.  Once you donate they'll send your money directly to the charity and make sure gift aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Thank you for you time and donations.
