My wife was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the end of March 2022. She has had surgery, multiple scans and chemotherapy. She is due to have further surgery at the end of October at the Christie. The care and support she has received has been amazing, the compassion, care and commitment they show their patients is truly humbling. My wonderful wife has been so brave and her journey has been made so much more tolerable due to the amazing staff and resources at the Christie. My wife like many others is running up that hill to beat cancer. That is why I want to run a minimum of 5km every day in October finishing with a half marathon on 5th November to raise funds for such an amazing place.
