Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My mum, Susan Mcauley, passed away in May 2022, a few days short of her 67th birthday. Although showing symptoms of dementia in the couple of years leading up to this, was only diagnosed with MND and dementia in January 2022.

I am attempting to run (and I use the term, run, lightly) the Royal Parks Half marathon in memory of my mum and to help raise much needed funds for the MND Association UK, who improve care and support for people affected by MND, fund vital research and campaign to raise awareness of this devastating disease.

I have very slowly jogged a half marathon before but haven't really done any running for about 3 years so this will be a challenge, but so worth it if I can raise my target of £500, so please dig deep and donate anything you can to support this amazing charity.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
