Story
On 16th September 2012, six of the Juice Master Team are running one of the toughest half marathons in the world, the Greath North Run, but with an added challenge of being dressed as carrots, to raise lots of money for an amazing cause.
In July this year, Tami Brown, a member of the extended Juice Master family and girlfriend to Kris, sadly died of cancer aged 28. She had cancer for 8 years and was positive she extended her life for the last 3 years thanks to support from Yes to Life, her friends and family and lots of vegetable juice! The Juice Master team are carrying on Tami's Wish to raise money for Yes to Life and give back to those who need it most.
Training has been tough and, especially dressed as a carrot, movement is quite restricted. At least 3 of the team have never run a half marathon in their life too! So this will be a big challenge.
Please dig deep, support the team and Tami's Wish and give back to those less fortunate than you. There really is no greater thing you can do.
The team will also be posting a training video, and a race day video too to all the people that donate, so keep your eyes peeled!
May the juice be with you!
