Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Brighton Marathon on 2nd April and am hoping to raise money to help Super Sid and his amazing family in their battle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).

SMA is a genetic condition that makes muscles weaker and causes problems with movement. Early diagnosis is vital to ensure that treatment can start as early as possible.

The money raised will help towards vital equipment that helps Sid to be more mobile and get around which is key to his independence. The majority of specialist equipment is not covered by the NHS.

You can follow Sid and his family on their journey through the Instagram page super_sidney_cooke.
