Dear friends,

John was one of my best friends and he sadly died last year.  His family wanted to do something positive in his name to remember him.  So on the 10th May, family and friends will be running the Hackney Half Marathon.  

John was an incredibly kind person,  he quietly helped a lot of people in various ways.  He always encouraged me to persue my goals.  I know i am not the only one who benefited from his love, time and friendship.  The charity his family have chosen to raise money for is Hackney Quest.  Hackney Quest works with young people to help achieve their goals. I think John would definitely approve. 
It's been some time since I donned my running shoes but they're back on and I am ready to commit, in return any sponsorship would be greatly appreciated.  And I know people can be asked for a lot of sponsorship, especially at this time of year. Anything is appreciated - a few pounds from lots of people will alll add up!
