We are aiming to complete this half marathon event to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. We have been inspired to do so by our friend, husband, brother and father, Adrian (Aido) who is living with this debilitating condition.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a rapidly progressing disease where messages from the brain gradually stop reaching the muscles, leading them to weaken, stiffen and waste. MND is a life-shortening illness, it is not known what causes it and there is no cure.

We want to help the MND Association achieve their vision – a world free from MND. It has inspired us to do what we can to raise awareness and funds for this great cause
