Refuge opened the world’s first refuge in West London in 1971. We support thousands of women & children every day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.

Story

Our team has come such a long way in the last month. It began with five Domestic Abuse specialists from Cambridgeshire Police who set out to run the London Marathon in 2014.

Our aim was simple: to raise £10,000 for the nation domestic abuse charity Refuge.

Now we have two more teams:

#TeamShark is a team of six ladies from all over the country who are going to swim with 10ft Tiger Sharks in Cheshire to aid our cause.

If that wasn't enough, #TeamAirborne is a mixed group of six supporters who will take a solo fixed line parachute jump from an aircraft at 3,500ft.

This is Running4Refuge. We exist to inspire your donations.

Even if you give £1, once.
