On Fathers Day, sons Jason, Trevor, Joe and Tommy, and daughter-in-law Debs are running the Macmillan 10k in Cambridge in memory of Mum and Dad: Barbara and Mick Smith.

In June 2013, mum Barbara was diagnosed with Lung and brain cancer. She fought bravely, but died on 24th August 2013. At the same time, dad Mick was fighting his own cancer battle. Without Barbara by his side , he died just 6 weeks later on 4th October. 

As you can imagine, this was an incredibly hard time for all the family, but Macmillan offered support to us and to Barbara and Mick.
