Mike Hockey, my dear friend and business partner of 20 years passed away in September '19 following a swift battle with cancer.

Mike was most passionate about his family: his 16 year marriage to Lucy still had the intensity of a new relationship. With their children Freddie and Amelie they enjoyed regular trips abroad - skiing, 5 weeks in a camper van touring Europe and days out to the coast.

As a colleague Mike was driven, supportive and fun loving. He was a great sales person, worked tirelessly in pursuit of success and was the perfect 'ideas man'. Mike drove our business to win 2nd place in the 2016 Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 with a 3 year CAGR of 221%. Following our last exit Mike embraced being an entrepreneur and investor and loved meeting potential new investments and supporting embryonic businesses.

My BMI rudely tells me I'm 'overweight' and my running career is short and difficult so I'm going to run a marathon because I think Mike would want me to suffer properly for your kind donations...and this is a charity that resonates right now.
