Story

This year I'm wanting to celebrate lily's 9th birthday by raising £900 and hoping to do this over several running events
The first is Cambridge half marathon on 4th March and I'm also signed up to Malden mud race in June, I'm going to be keeping the training and motivation up by doing virtual runs including my pledge to run/walk 1500km from 1st April - 22 Sept for walk the world for mito and looking to achieve 500miles over the year
I have also crazily signed up to a 12hr endurance race in June and a nice little fun inflatable obstacle 5k run in December

The Lily Foundation was founded in Lily's memory, having lost her battle to Mitochondrial Disease at just eight months old. The charity aims to give hope, answers and support to the many other children and families that face the challenges of this disease today.

Did you know every twenty minutes a child is born who will develop Mitochondrial Disease by the age of 16! There is no cure for this disease which is for many, debilitating and life limiting.

Please stand with us and fight Mitochondrial Disease and fight for hope.
