I am running the Reading Half Marathon on Sunday 21st March 2010. I am doing this to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Having lost two grandparents and seen an uncle, good friends and my mother battle with cancer I have seen first hand the heart ache and pain that cancer can cause.

I have also seen that with early detection and continually better treatments that are only possible with the research and work done by scientists and doctors funded by Cancer Reseach UK can help people fight and beat cancer.
