RUNNING FOR GEORGE
George is 5yrs old and has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I am running to raise money for Action Duchenne - a charity dedicated to finding a cure for this devastating condition.
It's harsh, but without a cure George is likely to be in a wheel chair by 10yrs, paralysed in his teens, and die in his late teens or early 20s.
Research is at a really critical stage and for the first time ever there is a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel. Help us to keep up the momentum and raise urgently needed funds!

POTTERS-ARF SUNDAY 14th JUNE 2009 START 10.30
The Potters Arf is a 13.1 mile race around the streets of Stoke on Trent and includes one or two steep climbs (woopee!!). The 2009 Potters Arf will be the 5th running of the race and it gets bigger and better every year, so I am hoping the atmosphere will ease the pain!
