Story
My mum and I are doing the Couch to 5k, to fund raise for specialist equipment and physiotherapy to help my cousin's son Otis. He has an extremely rare genetic condition called UBA5 which only 30 other children in the world have. Otis has a devastating type of epilepsy called infantile spasms. He has an unsafe swallow so must be tube fed, he has dystonia, quadriplegic cerebral palsy, global development delay, and is unable to see. The equipment and physiotherapy is so he can hold his head up, sit, stand and walk and to overall improve his quality of life.
Anyone who knows me and my mum, knows we are allergic to exercise. So keeping it going will be the challenge for us, but we are determined to do this for Otis. Please support us in our efforts by donating or sharing our fundraiser with friends. Thank you
