We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

My auntie Margaret died last August after suffering from Alzheimer's Disease for many years. Dementia is cruel, both to the sufferer and their family.  As i couldn't make it to her funeral, I've decided to honour her memory by running the 2023 London Marathon.

I last run the London Marathon in 2018, on one of the hottest days of the year, and tore my meniscus in the process. This time, i'm going to do some stretching beforehand.

Please donate what you can to Alzheimer's Society, to help them provide care and support for those with Alzheimers.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
