This summer on the 17th May I will be taking part in the BUPA Great Manchester Run, which follows a 10k route round the top sights of the city. Said to be one of the premier 10k events in the UK there will be 33,000 runners taking to the streets on the day with many more people in support for the charities and runners taking part.
Being lucky enough to secure a place in this year’s event I have created this fundraising page for the charity ‘KidsCan’ who I will be representing. The charity is based at Salford University and strives to cure children with cancer. The figures show that 1 in 500 children will be diagnosed with cancer in the UK this year and this charity aims to reduce this figure through research, improved treatment, developments in treatment and acting as a source of information about childhood cancer.

I would like to say thank you for taking your time to check out my page and reading a little about KidsCan who devote their work to a great cause. If you can spare a little to go towards this cause it would go a long way to helping children for the future.
Also running for this charity on the day is Oliver Wallace who some of you may know and a few other friends.
Thanks again
Mark :-)Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: KIDSCAN gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
