Story
Sarah Manley has been a member of our community for almost a year. She found a lump in April and was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Please read her story below:
| 'I found the lump at the beginning of April, I wasn’t concerned as there wasn’t any family history and being a runner I thought I was wasting the doctors' time! |
I was referred to the hospital for scans and tests and had the diagnosis of stage 3 breast cancer at the beginning of May. Luckily, although it’s aggressive, we have caught it early and it hasn’t spread.
I started chemo at the beginning of June and am having 8 rounds of treatment over 6 months. This will be followed by surgery.
I’ve been overwhelmed by everyone’s support on Instagram and Twitter- particularly visorclub members that I’ve never met. Thanks xx ' Sarah

Ways to support are by donating to this page but also do a race or training run wearing a bra to honour all those suffering from the disease. And yes men can join too!!!
