Yes, it took a while, but it's time to put this TEMPLE to human physical perfection into action!!! 

Now, as a marathon virgin I'm sceptical, but people tell me that this may well be quite difficult.  That it may even involve some degree of blood, sweat, tears, chafing and spontaneous incontinence.  That's just another Friday night as far as I'm concerned, so I don't envisage any problems..(!)

Joking aside, I'm going to be making may attempt on the marathon summit on behalf of Health Unlimited, a charity focussed on the provision on healthcare to third world communities affected by war or political instability.  They help prevent life threatening diseases such as HIV and to reduce maternal and child mortality.  It's a really great cause, and your contribution will make a real difference to people living in horrible circumstances.   

I'd really appreciate any sponsorship you think you can spare to give me the moral fibre to complete this epic.  As an added bonus - if I meet a sticky end I'll send round the photos.  Oh, and if I win I'll buy you all a drink or two.!
