Story

I'm running the Great Manchester Run - Half Marathon - for #TeamStroke!

There are over 1.3 million stroke survivors in the UK, with 100,000 strokes happening in the UK each year. That's one stroke every five minutes. Stroke Association believes everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke.

I have chosen the Stroke Association to run for and raise money for as my mother suffered a number of strokes when I was younger and it was a scary and tough time for her and us as a family. Through various support groups she battled through things and in turn has and continues to help others who have suffered from a stroke.

Your support will help them to provide vital services, campaign for better stroke care and fund research into preventative and rehabilitative treatments.

Donate now and help me raise as much as possible to help rebuild lives after stroke.

And keep an eye on my build up to the Half Marathon via strava updated below :)

THANKS!

Gordo
