Story
On the 3rd May this year, David Mzee smashed his personal best from last years Wings for Life World Run. Walking 467 meters, an amazing accomplishment! David was able to do this thanks to the successful clinical study from Wings for Life, after being told he would never be able to walk again after gymnastics accided in 2010. I participated in that Wings for Life World Run too, but my smile wasn't half as big! It was a virtual race for obvious reasons, but afterward I did a lot of looking into Wings for Life and learned what they're about... pretty humbling experience. If all of a sudden I couldn't put some km's under my sole's or even walk... I don't know.
A little bit of togetherness goes a long way. I'll do the distance, can you help with the research?
At the time of typing this (14 Nov 20) I have, since February managed to run 1586km. My aim is to reach 2000km before midnight on the 31st December 2020. Running for those who can't. - Updates of ALL runs recorded below.
IMPORTANT FACT: 100% of your donation goes directly to research as the charity’s founders cover all administrative costs.
All donations raised will be funding clinical studies. Learn more about Wings for Life at: www.wingsforlife.com
