Story
Hi guys, thanks for visiting my JustGiving page!
To keep a long story short, our youngest and soon to be middle child, Finley (2 in September) was born with a rare and currently undiagnosed condition. Though little is known about Finn's condition it's clear he is on a different development trajectory to other children his age.
Finn and our family have received a huge amount of support from family, friends, the NHS, various Portsmouth City Council services, Cherubz Day Care (cherubzdaycare.co.uk) and of course The Rainbow Centre.
From the moment we got in touch to the present day, The Rainbow Centre have been exceptional in supporting both Finley and in particular my partner Anna.
Bringing a new baby into the world presents enough challenges for any parent, understanding how to care for a child with special needs brings an additional and unknown spin to the mix. Having an additional support network has been essential and we can't recommend The Rainbow Centre highly enough.
As such, it's only right we do all that we can to give back a little of what The Rainbow Centre has given to us. Ensuring others going through a similar experience have access to The Rainbow Centre and the services they provide.
Over the coming 9 months - I'll be taking part in various events of the running variety in the hope of raising as much money as possible for The Rainbow Centre.
