Story
I am taking on the Great North Run this year to support the work of Roundabout, Sheffield's youth homeless charity, who help to change the lives of vulnerable young people in the area. In taking on this difficult personal challenge I also hope to make a difference in my local community.
Roundabout provides shelter and support to over 150 young people in Sheffield who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Your donations will help provide a safe place for young people and help Roundabout to provide the support and life skills to help break the cycle of homelessness. Your support will go a long way to changing the lives of some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield.
Roundabout's work is a lifeline for many and supports the young people they work with to prepare for a better future. From £5 which would buy bedding for a young person when they move into the hostel or their own flat to £5,000 which will house a young person for a full year – it all makes a difference to some of the most vulnerable young people in Sheffield.
