"the best of DMU in one person" The Adam Redfern Memorial Fund has been established to give aspiring students with a flair for media, journalism and sport the opportunity to study at DMU and make the most out of their time here before they go on to fulfil their career ambitions. The fund is in memory of much-loved DMU colleague, Journalism alumnus and fitness enthusiast, Adam Redfern, who died suddenly of a heart attack while out jogging in March 2021, aged 28. Donations will enable ambitious students to pursue Adams passions and will help to boost their career opportunities with the support of the university through dedicated scholarships, bursaries and monetary awards.
