How many miles can you run in 30 days? Could you take on 50 or 100 miles to help us beat dementia?

Story

The past few months have been tough for everyone but coronavirus has hit people affected by dementia the hardest and continues to disrupt lives. So that's why I'm lacing up my trainers and taking on Run for Dementia. My wife Erin and I will be running 50miles each in a month for the Alzheimer’s society starting this Saturday 27th March.

For those of you who know me - I have never been a runner! It wasn’t until the first lockdown that I decided to give it a go and gradually started to enjoy it. This will be a challenge for me as I haven’t racked up this many miles in a month before!

Erin sadly lost her wonderful Nan to this awful disease a few months back. It’s so sad to see what dementia can do to a person and I wanted to take on a challenge to give something back to the brilliant charities that support people who are going through a battle with dementia.

I appreciate in these times a lot of things are uncertain for a lot of people but if you are able to spare anything at all it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support
