*This JustGiving page is a new page as the original one is only open during the month for R.E.D January and, as you will read, I am doing more than that. If you have already donate thank you! and it will be counted together with this page at the end of the year.
This year (2017) I have had problems with stress, anxiety and depression. I find that when I can go running, when I can get out of the door, that it really helps.
So in 2018 I have decided to combined the two and do something for the mental health charity Mind.
Mind are running an event called R.E.D January 2018.
R.E.D stands for Run Every Day. The event runs, as the name suggests, throughout January 2018. I plan to do this and more.
I planned to run every day of 2018.
I am going to follow the regime of the great Ron Hill, a man who ran every day for over 50 years! Hill defined a "run" as completing a distance of at least one mile at any pace.
So for the whole of 2018 I plan to run at least one mile, most days more, some days even running a marathon.
