Maggie's provide free practical support to people living with cancer and their families. A donation of any size enables Maggie's to have cancer specialists, psychologists, and financial support staff available through their centres around the UK. I'm directing the donations to the Manchester Maggie's Centre to support those in my hometown. Please visit their website for more information: Maggie's – everyone's home of cancer care (maggies.org).

As I had to drop out of the marathon last year due to running injuries, Maggie's kindly deferred my place to this year without raising their fundraising target of £3000. I'm so grateful for this and really want to do them proud!

Instead of asking for donations for another year, I set up a beaded jewellery account where I am making and selling necklaces. You can order or design a necklace by messaging the page (Clara Beadstein (@beadyweadywoowar) • Instagram photos and videos) where all proceeds will go to the wonderful Maggie's Centre in Manchester.

A donation of any size or sharing my fundraiser will be greatly appreciated. Training for this marathon has been one of the best experiences of my life - I am so excited for the race on 21st April and am beyond grateful for all the support I've received.
