Oliver is 7 years old and a triplet! In February 2021 Oliver was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma. We are aiming to raise £260,000 for a vaccine abroad designed to reduce the chances of Oliver's cancer returning in the future.

Story

A team of runners and support crew made up of members of TWFRS Running Section and NEFRS Boxing are raising money to help Oliver Maw who has Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. All money raised will go towards helping Oliver travel to the USA for a course of vaccinations to help reduce the risk of the cancer returning in the future.

In October 2022 our friends from Leicestershire FRS Running Section raised an amazing £15,000 running from Leicester to Newcastle as a continuous relay whilst wearing Fire Kit! They have thrown down the gauntlet to us to return the Baton that they brought with them to give to Oliver. On Friday 31st March and Saturday 1st April we plan to run the return leg as a continuous relay, also wearing Fire Kit. This will be a distance in excess of 203 miles. Oliver is currently over half way towards his target of £260,000 and anything we could raise to go towards his target would be greatly appreciated.

Please kindly donate if you are able to and share this page, the more awareness we can generate the better.

Oliver’s story is featured below;

Oliver is 8 years old, from Sunderland and is a triplet! His favourite colour is blue, Oliver loves colouring and as you can see from the pic above, he is just as cheeky as his brothers and sister. On the 19th of Feb 2021 Oliver was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma, which is a rare and aggressive form of childhood Cancer. Oliver is currently undergoing frontline treatment at the Royal Victoria infirmary in Newcastle. He super brave and doing well but unfortunately Neuroblastoma has a high relapse rate meaning their is a high risk that Oliver's cancer will return again in the future. We are aiming to raise £260,000 for a vaccine only available abroad which is designed to reduce the chances of Oliver's cancer returning. Any support/ donation's would be so greatly appreciated! If you would like to support in fundraising please email brooke@bradleyloweryfoundation.com*Any un-used funds will go to helping other children*
