Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Just over two years ago Sam and I had our world thrown upside down. On the 28th July 2016 our beautiful son, George Edison Woodward heartbreakingly passed away shortly after birth.
Sam and I have always said we want to raise money for the charities that helped us following the death of our George, this year we are thrilled to extend the Run4George team to help us with this. Will, Ardy, Dave, Mike, Tom, Hugh, Anna, Sarah, Sam and I will all be running the Clarendon Marathon (www.clarendon-marathon.co.uk) between Salisbury and Winchester raising money for a charity called 'Remember My Baby'.
When a baby passes away you have a short space of time to create memories that will last your lifetime. This wonderful charity helps you to do just that. They offer the healing gift of remembrance photography to all parents suffering the loss of their baby before, during or shortly after birth. Sam and I will always remember and are forever grateful to our photographer, Tina, from Remember My Baby. Tina was kind, supportive and very sensitive as she took some beautiful photos of George and our little family - we have attached a selection of Tina's photos to this page. These photos have been so helpful to us on our journey through grief, and will help us explain to our baby boy Jack about his amazing older brother. To Tina and Remember my Baby, we will be forever grateful for your support.
