Story
At the beginning of 2011 our good friend Ryan was diagnosed with Leukemia. Although the year has been a tough slog through gruelling treatment, battling infection and months in and out of hospital he is making a good recovery and the way he has dealt with his illness has been an inspiration to us all.
When he was first diagnosed he was taken into the care of the fantastic P3 ward in the Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield which specialises in treating young people with Leukemia and other blood disorders. They provided excellent care and support and it is to raise money for them that we will be taking part in the 10km Great Yorkshire Run across (the very hilly!) Sheffield on October 9th.
We're sure you'll agree this is a fantastic and incredibly deserving cause and one that is close to our hearts. Any donation you can make will be very much appreciated and make a difference to countless young people whose lives are turned upside down by Leukemia.
THANKS!
Love Andy, Lucy, Joe and Simon xxxx
P.S. If you have a spare minute take a moment to look through Ryan's blog...well worth a read i'm sure you'll agree! http://thedeadlyrhythm5.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
