Hafs Academy is an independent secondary school based in Stratford that aims to inspire its students to lead a fulfilling life.

As a relatively new organisation Hafs Academy has faced a number of challenges including recruitment and retention and funding.

Despite the challenges the school has made steady progress and is dedicated to provide quality education.

Along with its provision for students, the school is also dedicated to provide opportunity for community cohesion through organising community gatherings as well as fundays that are open to the public.

Hafs Academy does not receive government funding and is therefore reliant on other avenues to draw funds in order to deliver its services.

For this reason I have decided to take part in this 5km charity run in Victoria Park to help raise some valuable funds as well as raise awareness of their wonderful work.
