In August 2017, my then 8 year old daughter Jeanie had open heart surgery at Bristol Children's Hospital. It was a very stressful time and was only made easier by the wonderful care that jeanie received and the superb support from the staff and helpers at the hospital.

This is echoed by my niece Bella and her family, she had open heart surgery when she was just 7 months old. The wonderful work that the grand appeal does, raising funds for equipment or arranging fun things for the children to do in hospital, is invaluable to there recovery.

So, with this in mind, I've decided to try and drag my sorry carcass around the streets of London for 26 miles🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🙈🙈🙈.
