Story
This is a page that we have set up in honour of our lovely friend/sister, Becky.
Becky is a beautiful lady inside and out but unfortunately is having a
really hard time at the moment. Becky has a Glioma which is a type of brain tumour that is currently incurable.
Becky had been well with no symptoms other than her maybe being a little bit more tired that usual, up until the day she suffered seizures whilst at home, homeschooling her children.
We’ve all desperately wanted to do something to help so thought that by doing this we will let Becky know we are all thinking of her and cheering her on and can raise money, all of which will go straight to The Brain Tumour Charity as only 3% of cancer research funding goes into brain cancer, despite it being the biggest cancer killer in children and young adults under 40.
Your help and support will help the charity further their understanding of brain tumours and help towards improving new treatments and the lives of those suffering from a brain tumour.
We will be organising various events and we would be very grateful of any sponsors that we receive.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for helping support us in raising awareness and funding for this life changing and devastating disease.
If you would like to see what kind of things that your donation can help with here is a link to The Brain Tumour Charities information page.
