Story

Dear Friends,

This is a story of love, remembrance, and a shared commitment to make a difference. On May 17, 2023, our lives were forever changed by the loss of Caitlin Westerfield, who tragically passed away at the young age of 25 in a car accident.

Caitlin was a remarkable individual who lived life to the fullest. Her love for traveling, skiing, hiking, and running knew no bounds. She had set her sights on completing all the World Major Marathons and had already conquered three: Chicago, Berlin, and New York. Caitlin and her father, Evan, had plans to run the marathons together. In honor of Caitlin's vibrant spirit and our commitment to fulfill her dream, Scott and Claire are running the 2024 London Marathon alongside Evan.

We are honored to announce we will be running for the charity, Save the Children, as Caitlin would like that. This charity believes that every child deserves safety, health, and the opportunity to learn and grow. We have pledged to raise several thousand dollars and we are asking for your donation.

Please join us in this endeavor; whether you knew Caitlin personally, are a friend of her family, or simply someone who wishes to be a contribution. Let’s honor Caitlin's memory and celebrate her passions by supporting children in their journey towards a better tomorrow.
